Four Points By Sheraton Auckland

So pleased with this wonderful hotel and the great service provided by such dedicated staff. Had an upper-floor room with a great view, modern furnishings, and washing machine (available in some but not all suites). Kitchenette was impressive. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Located nearby many excellent sightseeing destinations such as Sky City. Harbor is within walking distance. Hotel gym has everything that's needed for an excellent workout. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Central location, fairly comfortable/modern, reasonable prices/points redemptions. Just a few small things which could be improved. The recommended parking is hard to find and they give a paper map but no address, so a driver needs a passenger or to look at the map rather than using voice GPS. During our stay room cleaning/towels missed two days in a row. The light switches in our room were weird and not intuitive at all, so it was hard to have reading light before going to sleep. Finally the lobby has a weird smell. Overall this is a solid hotel in a central location, but don’t expect to be too wowed.

The rooms were spacious and had a beautiful view of the city. Centrally located within the dowtown and pier. It's about 20-25 minute walk to the pier to catch the ferry. Very convenient! Hospitality and service can use some improvements. I'm not certain if it's NZ thing or downtown city vibe, but service is lacking. The folks behind the registration desk give off, "I could care less vibe." They seem jaded and/or possibly overworked. If you grab a drink in the downstairs area, I highly recommend keeping it simple. Glass of wine or beer. Their cocktails ( eg, margarita) are absolutely distasteful. They either don't have the right ingredients or the measurements are off. Honestly. I am not certain I would come back to this location. Would probably look at other Marriot options.

Didn’t see much reviews containing information about gym so here it goes. The gym is amazing. Fully finished with Technogym equipment, nicely located and with fully functional WC (including shower). There’s even machine with some fit snacks and drinks, as well as free tap water. Apart from that, the hotel is nice and comfortable.

We had an unintended visit to this hotel under unfortunate circumstances but after interaction with Kate turned our bad experience to a rosy experience. Kate is an asset to your Team. Kate is very knowledgeable about the hotel menu and knows how to get repeat customers. Thank you for dinner reservations and excellent dining recommendations.
